I generally look for these setups across the majors and primarily focus on the JPY crosses since they tend to move consistently in the Asian session, as does gold.

Asia Session

  • ·Time: 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM New York time
  • ·Pairs: JPY crosses (AUDJPY, NZDJPY, GBPJPY, EURJPY, USDJPY), NZDUSD, AUDUSD, XAUUSD
  • ·Other majors: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF, USDCAD

Europe / London Session

  • ·Time: 1:00 AM - 5:00 AM New York time
  • ·London Equity Hour: 3:00 AM - 4:00 AM New York time
  • ·Pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF, USDCAD, GBPJPY, EURJPY, XAUUSD

New York Session

  • ·Time: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM New York time
  • ·Pairs: EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF, USDCAD, GBPJPY, EURJPY, XAUUSD

New York Equity Session

  • ·Time: 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM New York time
  • ·Pairs: Spot Crude (oil), SP500, DJ30, NAS100
